VET

VET (Vocational and Educationa Training) is one of the most interesting area of study for Polish students. Why? To answer this question, you will need to understand a little bit about the Australian Education system.Australian students wishing to continue their studies at University level, must successfully complete Year 12 and undertake an exam (Tertiary Entrance Exam T.E.E.) which is the equivalent to the Polish Matura. Australian students then have two directions they can take, one is direct entry into University and the second is to enrol in a Vocational course.Vocational courses are of various durations and offer differing qualifications ranging from 3 -6 months (Certificate), 1 year (Diploma)  to 2 years (Advanced Diploma). After having successfully completed a 2 year advanced Diploma students can then enter University at the second year. The main advantage of these vocational courses is that they offer students well recognised qualifications but most of all the courses are designed to be practical in nature. Students finish these courses and are directly able to walk into the workforce and directly apply what they have learnt. For you this means that you do a course totally in English, studying alongside not only overseas but Australian students. You can choose the duration of study according to the amount of time you would like to be in Australia and walk away with a qualification that is recognised not only in Australia but abroad. It also means that you will study a course that will allow you to get a 'real job:in the 'real world" We do have courses on offer which allow students of select Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses  to have paid internships for part of the duration of their course. You can work full time during the period of your internship. Want to know more?
